Calling Rustington Youth!
Hi, the Youth Centre has had some changes recently.
This Term, entry is free for the Thursday Youth Clubs, yes FREE! This means we have seen quite a few new faces coming in to see what there is on offer. Speaking of which, the team have a range of activities on each night including Internet Access, Wii, Pool, Table Hockey and Table Tennis to name a few. Each night there is a scheduled activity, as well as local opportunities to get involved with.
You can also find out more about the Youth Opportunity Fund. This is a chance for young people to apply for money for projects they are interested in or to buy resources to make an event happen. The options are endless, so if you have an idea pop into the Centre to find out how you can make it real. Or simply log on to www.yourspacewestsussex.co.uk and click on ‘your voice’.
So, please, drop in to say hello and find out what there is on offer for you.
Hope to see you soon!
Marg, Simon and Nikki
Don’t forget these Clubs are held on:-
Thursdays 7.00 - 9.00 pm for 14-17 yr olds

Young people are also being offered the opportunity to take part in a range of volunteer schemes, including the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.
Members can get out and about and visit popular attractions. For example, some of the Senior Club
members recently had a great weekend away staying overnight at Alton Towers.
The Senior Club is open during term between 7.00 pm and 9.00 pm on Thursdays.
All the Clubs at the Centre are run by qualified and experienced workers, with control of entry, and
parents and carers are welcome to visit, have a look round, and meet the Youth Workers.
The aim of the Centre, as a whole, is to offer young people a safe environment – one where they can enjoy a wide range of activities or simply meet up and chill out with their friends. It is also a place where young people are encouraged to have their say. And, this has been stepped up as Senior Club members are now able to meet with the Management Committee, to discuss the Centre and its way forward.
