Steel Magnolias by Robert Harling - Wed 17 - Sat 20 March

7.45 pm - 10.15 pm - Village Memorial Hall, The Woodlands Centre, Woodlands Avenue, Rustington - Rustington Players bring you a play about the close-knit women at Truvy's Beauty Salon, in Louisiana, who have lots of time to gossip. Consequently, visitors get more than a wash and cut. The play focusses on the cameraderie of these six Southern women, the 'steel magnolias' of the title, through the best of times and the worst.

World Storytelling Event - Saturday 20 March

2.00 pm - 4.00 pm - Look & Sea Centre, Littlehampton - Come and hear magical stories to celebrate World Storytelling Day in our atmospheric Viewing Tower Look, listen & see at the Look and Sea! Arun U3A - Story Tellers will celebrate this WORLD “Themed” Event. “ 2010” Theme is 'Light & Shadow.' All ages welcome; numbers strictly limited - so please book in advance. Price £2.95, to include Coffee or Tea and Cake.

The Littlehampton Sport Relief & Harbour Park Mile - Sunday 21 March

10.00 am - 1.00 pm - Harbour Park, Sea Front & Eastern Promenade - This is a Fun Run around a flat and paved surface which caters for all of the family and for all ages. From tot in a pushchair to grandparents in a wheel chair. Runners, Walkers, strollers and ALL are warmly welcome. You take as long as you wish to finish the 1 x mile circuit and there are SIX and THREE Mile events for the fitter and more ambitious fun runner. When you have completed your run, there is a Sport Relief Goody Bag awaiting you at The Finishing Line.

Family Race Day - Sunday 21 March

Gates Open 12 noon - Fontwell Park Racecourse, Fontwell - Free entertainment for young children, including face painting, pets corner and bouncy castle. There will also be an appearance from popular children's TV character Sportacus. This fixture will be supporting and raising money for Sport Relief. Admission just £12 if booked in advance or £15 on the day. Children under 16 are free of charge. Car parking is free in the main car park.
